About TLF Share

Our agenda: a society where all individuals are free, healthy, safe, and empowered regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or HIV status

TLF Sexuality, Health and Rights Educators Collective (TLF Share) based in Quezon City, the Philippines, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization of peer educators, trainers, and advocates working on the sexual health, human rights, and empowerment of gay men, bisexuals, other men who have sex with men, and transgenders.

Incorporated in 2005 as a non-profit membership organization, TLF Share was founded by former officers and volunteers of The Library Foundation (TLF), a pioneering community organization in HIV and AIDS work among men who have sex with men and transgenders in the country.

TLF started as a socio-civic organization established in 1990 by clients of The Library bar in Malate, and in response to a call by the Department of Health for HIV prevention projects for Filipino men who have sex with men, it shifted its work to focus on community mobilization and HIV peer education and outreach. With the help of other HIV and AIDS service providers, TLF established a drop in center for MSM and TGs in Malate during 1990s and developed its peer-led program on sexual health and human rights for MSM and TGs.
